Olive Tree Study aims to provide a sound and accurate approach to our teaching. When your child enters our school he/she will begin the critical stages of building a profound foundation in the Islamic faith through exposure to Quranic, Islamic & Arabic Studies.The topics and subjects have been divided in four parts to be taught over the period of the day. Each subject is taught by specialised subject teachers. Children are assessed and put into groups according to their levels. Each class has an appropriate pace and differentiation. Pupils will progress largely according to their own ability and speed. Please note that below is only a summary of our syllabus. Full details are given to pupil once they are enrolled.

In between each lesson, we have short breaks including a break for light lunch and salah.
Our aim is for children to speak and understand Arabic language fluently in order for them to access the Quran and sacred knowledge to a much deeper level. The Arabic lesson will mainly comprised of speaking & listening, writing and comprehension. Older children will be studying from child friendly Arabic text book. The books are well structured and are designed to teach Arabic in a non Arabic speaking environment to learners from a broad age range. Younger pupils will be focusing on learning a range a Arabic vacabs to increase their vocabulary.
Subjects for Arabic studies
|Reading, writing, speaking and listening||The course is designed to build a sound foundation for children to progress onto intermediate level in Arabic language. Basic level includes alphabets vocabulary bank, grouping words and common phrases Intermediate level also includes constructing sentences, basic grammar, practicing conversations and comprehension exercises.|
